My Halloween costume in all its glory - thought you'd like to see what I came up with for "Thriller."

Krissie was a huge help with this costume. She helped me get started with the process of distressing the dress, and she did the makeup - vair vair scary, no?


I found Matt at the dance lab and we danced a lot - so fun. I almost didn't recognize him when he came bopping on over.

I think the socks are my favorite part of the costume.
The dance was a HUGE success. You would not believe the reaction we got when they all realized that we were actually going to dance to "Thriller," especially after the very traditional cha cha that came right before us. We all came zombie-ing out of the audience and then hit our half moons with spin, and they were ours, especially when we broke into the actual Thriller dance. It was a blast - definitely one of the best Halloweens for awhile.
Also, the playlist got used a lot today, and I declare it a success as well.

Truly Scary

I just have to tell you this.
I decided that I wanted to watch the music video for "Thriller" because of it's current place in my life (yeah, when did you think you'd hear that?), so I looked it up on youtube.
I don't know if any of you have ever noticed the first few seconds of this video, but it begins with a disclaimer:
"Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this film in no way endorses a belief in the occult.

Strong personal convictions?
I was going to post a picture of him to emphasize my point, but looking at current pictures of him kind of made me want to throw up.
